NEW HISTOFINE 8 MM

For over 30 years Dörr HISTOGLAS has specialized in the development and use of unique insulated glass panes. We now present Histofein an insulated glass pane with only 8mm thickness. Designed for use in protected windows, historical buildings, monuments or faithful reproductions from wood and steel. With a thickness 8mm, Histofein insulated panes are almost undetectable. Through the use of slightly wavy glass on the outside and painted spacers in the color of your choice between the panes, the new Histofein insulating glass is barely noticeable when compared to original single glazing. Histofein is extremely light, the weight changes only slightly in comparison to single glazing. The original fittings are only minimally burdened and can be used without problems.

Histofein has a sensational maximum achievable pane width of 1.00 m and a height of 1.80 m!

With reasonable effort stock windows can be upgraded considerably. Both the thermal insulation value and the acoustic insulation value will be greatly improved through the use of Histofein. To improve the insulating value still more additional hose seals in the sash are recommended.

True to original reproductions of historic windows with extremely small sections of frames and muntin are possible with Histofein. Glass-dividing sash-bar-types are feasible from wood 24mm and in steel or lead as 20mm.
